The Place Design Award is given annually to design, planning and research projects that are distinguished by an interdisciplinary focus, concern for human factors in the design of the built environment, and commitment to promoting links between design practice and design research.
The program is co-sponsored by the Environmental Design Research Association and Places Journal.
