Community Music Center

The client approached our office to provide a feasibility study illustrating how the current music school could expand into its neighboring building: a 2 story Victorian building. Our project vision not only brought additional classroom space to the school, but rethought the area between the two buildings to create a campus-like experience with gardens and pathways connecting the existing facility and its expansion. The final project, makes use of this Victorian house in the Mission District, to provide 4 additional practice rooms, a large ensemble room, offices, and a courtyard to expand the 100 years old Community Music Center program.
